About
Stevens Institute of Technology has taken a proactive step toward wildlife conservation with the completion of our latest Bird Divert installation. The project covered 7,000 square feet of glass surfaces across campus with our innovative marker system, transforming potentially hazardous windows into bird-safe barriers. These nearly invisible markers, precisely arranged to meet proven bird-safety standards, allow students and faculty to enjoy unobstructed views while preventing avian collisions. This installation reflects both Stevens Institute's environmental leadership and our commitment to delivering solutions that harmonize urban architecture with wildlife protection. As one of New Jersey's premier technical institutions, Stevens sets an example for how academic campuses can embrace smart design that protects local biodiversity.
